Job summary

Connect Search, LLC in Illinois seeks a Senior Manager or Director to lead advanced financial modeling and strategic finance initiatives. You will own three-statement models, develop scenarios, and drive staffing, service line, and capex decisions.

The role provides direct access to the COO and governance committees, with a strong emphasis on automation and data-driven insights. Hybrid work arrangement with 2 days in Deerfield and 3 remote days.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Build business cases and scenario models for staffing, service lines, and growth.
• Frame complex questions and translate into clear recommendations.
• Own physician compensation modeling and reconciliations.
• Present to physicians and governance committees and answer questions.
• Underwrite capital decisions with ROI and sensitivity analyses.
• Own parts of budget, forecast, and long-range plan.
• Create monthly executive reports and KPI outlooks.
• Collaborate with IT and operations to improve data and dashboards.

Northbrook, IL | Hybrid (Tu/Th onsite) | $150K-$180K base + 20% bonus

What you'll do

• Build business cases and scenario models for staffing, service lines, reimbursement changes, cost initiatives, and growth opportunities.
• Frame messy questions, find the key drivers, and turn the answer into a clear recommendation.
• Own physician compensation modeling: plan design, partner allocations, production incentives, and reconciliations.
• Present to physicians and governance committees, and answer their questions directly.
• Underwrite capital decisions, including equipment, new sites, and facility investments, with ROI and sensitivity analysis.
• Own parts of the budget, forecast, and long-range plan.
• Build monthly reporting for executives and the PE sponsor: operating results, KPIs, and outlook.
• Work with IT and operations to improve data, dashboards, and automation.

What you bring

• 5+ years in investment banking, private credit, leveraged finance, transaction advisory, corporate development, or strategic finance.
• The ability to build three-statement, operating, and scenario models from a blank sheet.
• Executive-ready PowerPoint skills. You can make complex analysis simple.
• Comfort with large, imperfect data sets.
• The ability to read and apply legal agreements such as employment agreements, leases, and financing documents.
• A hands-on approach. You do the analysis yourself rather than delegating it.
• A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field. An MBA or CFA is a plus.
• Healthcare experience is helpful but not required. Sharp analysts from any sector will be considered.

• Title: Senior Manager or Director, based on experience.
• Base: $150K-$180K, plus a 20% target bonus and a full benefits package.
• Hybrid: Tuesday and Thursday in Deerfield, remote the other 3 days.
