We are hiring for a Director, Strategic Accounts to join our Customer Team.

This role is unique as this individual will be working directly with one of Evolent’s largest client and leading a group of individuals who oversee various aspects of the plan. The Director will have a unique insight to the various idiosyncrasies to the individual markets and be directly and indirectly responsible for their outputs.

Collaboration Opportunities: Serving as a consultative partner, helping to identify opportunities for growth within health plan specialty management and Evolent. This Strategic Account Director will implement relationship best practices, understand and deliver upon strategic growth opportunities and drive value, while effectively communicating and increasing satisfaction at all levels of the partner organization.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Lead and mentor a team that consists of Associate Director and Account Manager level associates, providing ongoing direction, feedback and support
  • Support an assigned book of business strategically to achieve objectives, including relationship development, growth, retention, and customer objectives. Including manage risks and developing opportunities associated with current clients
  • Cultivate productive, trusted relationships with key executives – including C-level and both internal and external stakeholders of relationships
  • Utilize data-driven resources to run efficient/effective meetings and work sessions with the client and all relevant Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), both internal and external
  • Possess working knowledge of Evolent products and services and can articulate value proposition for all at a high level
  • Develop best-in-class presentation strategies, narratives, and content to support external meetings with senior stakeholders
  • Lead regular Partnership review meetings for each client, including strategic account planning, relationship mapping, competitive market analysis and issue management
  • Advocate for partner culture, serve as an ambassador within Evolent and the go-to expert on client priorities and how to get things done within the health plan organization
  • Aggressively manage all aspects of the contracts with assigned clients as well as ensure ongoing contract performance through risk management activities including assurance of Service Level Agreement performance, rate/savings maximization through ongoing benefit analysis and adherence to requirements of the client’s legal and regulatory environment
Qualifications
  • Bachelors’ Degree or equivalent work experience
  • 4 or more years in client or account management leadership roles
  • 5+ years broad-based Health Plan experience
  • Ability to find creative solutions in an ever-changing and growing environment
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including at the C-level
  • Exceptionally high “Emotional Intelligence” and ability to connect with diverse constituents, actively listen, and identify key areas of sensitivity
  • Travel: 40% w/in the US and US Territories

We require that all employees have the following technical capability at their home: High speed internet over 10 Mbps and, specifically for all call center employees, the ability to plug in directly to the home internet router. The expected base salary/wage range for this position is $120,000-140,000. This position is also eligible for a bonus component that would be dependent on pre-defined performance factors. As part of our total compensation package, Evolent is proud to offer comprehensive benefits (including health insurance benefits) to qualifying employees. All compensation determinations are based on the skills and experience required for the position and commensurate with experience of selected individuals, which may vary above and below the stated amounts.
