Job summary

d-Matrix is seeking a Director of Site Reliability Engineering to build and lead the SRE function from the ground up. You will own the infrastructure that drives development, validation, and customer deployments across colocation, on-prem labs, and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).

You will hire 3–5 engineers, set the technical direction, define SLOs, and serve as the senior escalation point for critical incidents, partnering with DevOps and hardware/software teams to deliver a unified

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in CS/EE or related field.
• 15+ years in SRE or infrastructure engineering.
• Experience building or rebuilding an SRE function.
• Strong Linux, networking, and storage knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead SRE from the ground up, owning infra for deployments.
• Define team charter, roadmap, and on-call model.
• Own 24x7 reliability across multi-cloud and on-prem.
• Drive RCA after incidents and ensure systemic fixes.
• Collaborate with DevOps to align platforms and pipelines.
