Job summary

The YMCA of Greater Richmond is seeking an energetic Service Delivery Director to lead our Sports department, supervise staff, and expand our community impact through high quality youth and adult programs.

This role requires a college degree (preferred), at least two years of program experience, budget oversight, and strong collaboration with members, volunteers, and community partners; evening and weekend work is expected.

Qualifications

• College degree in a related field preferred.
• Minimum of two years of programmatic experience in youth sports.
• Experience leading staff and volunteers.
• Experience managing large sports programs and budgets.
• Computer proficiency and program administration experience essential.
• CPR/First Aid certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the Sports department and supervise staff.
• Grow the sports base to expand community impact.
• Manage youth and adult sports programs, camps, and related activities.
• Supervise part-time staff, gym monitors, and volunteer coaches.
• Build relationships with members and community organizations.
• Engage program participants and ensure high-quality programs.
• Work varied evenings and weekends.
