Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation in Albuquerque NM is seeking a Systems Director - Engineering Program Management to lead a 5–10 person team on critical national security space initiatives. This full-time, on-site role requires an active Top Secret/SCI clearance and US citizenship, with responsibility for budgets, staffing, and customer coordination.

You will shape program plans, advise Space Force and AFRL stakeholders, and ensure timely delivery across all program life cycles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field.
• 12+ years of systems engineering or program management experience.
• Experience leading project teams and interfacing with customers.

Responsibilities

• Position Aerospace as the FFRDC of choice for Space Force and AFRL.
• Provide responsive recommendations to leadership for multiple programs.
• Coordinate across organizations to ensure timely, high-quality development and delivery of strategies and analyses.
• Lead a 5–10 person team and manage budget, staffing, and performance evaluations.
• Support customer senior decision forums and engage with customers regularly.
• Work on-site at Kirtland AFB in Albuquerque, NM.
