Job summary

HealthTrust, part of the HCA Healthcare family, seeks a Director Sourcing Special Projects to oversee project implementation planning and governance. You will support the SVP of Core GPO Strategic Sourcing, ensuring precise board materials and timely updates across sourcing, finance, and clinical teams.

The role requires Bachelor’s (Masters preferred) and 5–7 years in supply chain, supplier relations, and customer service, with GPO experience highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred.
• 5–7 years of experience in supply chain, supplier relations and customer service; GPO experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with sourcing, financial and clinical teams to ensure material accuracy and timeliness for Board presentations.
• Establish relationships with sourcing teams, guiding responses to customer service and Board activities.
• Preside over Supply Chain Board activities including Precall tasks.
• Onboard and orient new board/council members.
• Manage and update the SCB/ASC Team Room and related admin tasks.
• Complete CLM tasks related to Supply Chain Board approval.
• Collaborate with finance and sourcing to provide price files for board members.
• Develop relationships with suppliers to assist in fee recovery efforts.
• Prepare and distribute supplier communications including letters and portal access.

Job Summary And Qualifications

The Director Sourcing Special Projects will manage the planning of implementation of projects, as assigned by the SVP of Core GPO Strategic Sourcing. The Director must be adaptable as assignments and duties may change based on the needs of the organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITITES

• Collaborate with sourcing, financial and clinical teams to ensure that all Supply Chain Board/Ambulatory Surgery Council presentation material is accurate and timely
• Establish relationships with sourcing teams, providing guidance and feedback in response to customer service and/or Supply Chain Board related activities
• Prepare and preside over all Supply Chain Board activities including HCA Precall activities
• Complete onboarding and orientation of all new board/council members
• Manage and update the SCB/ASC Team Room including other administrative tasks (i.e., attendance/voting tracker, minutes, schedules, etc.)
• Complete CLM tasks related to Supply Chain Board approval
• Collaborate with finance and sourcing to provide price files for board members
• Develop relationship with suppliers to assist in fee recovery efforts
• Prepare and distribute supplier emails to include Supplier Letter, Supplier Portal Access, and Fee Template
• Miscellaneous tasks as assigned

Requirements

• 5-7 years of experience in supply chain, supplier relations and customer service; GPO experience preferred
