Job summary
Labcorp seeks a Director of the Sourcing Center of Excellence to lead centralized procurement governance and analytics in a hybrid role based in Burlington, NC or Durham, NC. This senior leader will drive category strategies, supplier relationships, and cross-functional collaboration across Direct and Indirect spend.
The role requires strong category management, leadership, and negotiation capabilities, with a track record of improving cost, quality, and supply continuity in regulated
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Procurement, or related field.
- 7+ years of progressive strategic sourcing experience.
- 3+ years of direct people leadership experience.
- 5+ years of value-delivering sourcing strategies across multiple categories.
- 3+ years leading cross-functional initiatives with senior stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Lead strategic sourcing and category management across Direct, Indirect, and Strategic Procurement.
- Develop category strategies for laboratory diagnostics, healthcare ops, and enterprise functions.
- Drive supplier management, governance, and risk mitigation initiatives.
- Partner with senior leaders to establish a centralized Sourcing COE.
- Deliver executive-level presentations and implement procurement best practices.
