Job summary

Moody's Corporation is seeking a senior professional in Chicago to liaison between technical teams and sales, driving commercialization of structured finance data and analytics products. You will lead client demos, respond to RFIs/RFPs, and manage onboarding for API and web-based tools.

The role requires deep knowledge of structured finance across asset classes, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple engagements in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in structured finance, securitization analytics, or related client-facing role.
  • Experience across asset classes: CLOs, CMBS, RMBS, ABS.
  • Experience supporting demos, RFP/RFI responses, and client onboarding for APIs and data products.
  • Clear explanation of structured credit concepts to varied audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as liaison between technical teams and sales to commercialize data/analytics solutions.
  • Lead demonstrations and discovery sessions for prospective clients.
  • Own RFI/RFP responses with sales and product teams.
  • Manage client onboarding for APIs and web-based products.
  • Conduct client touchpoints and identify expansion opportunities with Account Managers.
  • Bridge technical staff and frontline sales by translating client requirements.
  • Support clients in accessing and interpreting structured finance data across asset classes.
  • Create user guides and enablement resources for investor workflows.
  • Gather feedback to drive product improvements and roadmaps.

Skills And Competencies
  • 5+ years of experience in structured finance, securitization analytics, or a related client-facing role at a service provider, ratings agency, or financial institution
  • Working knowledge across structured finance asset classes including Collateralized Loan Obligations, Commercial Mortgage-Backed Securities, Residential Mortgage-Backed Securities, and Asset-Backed Securities, with an understanding of tranche mechanics, credit enhancement, and cashflow waterfalls
  • Demonstrated experience supporting product demonstrations, request for proposal and request for information responses, and customer onboarding for application programming interface and web-based data products
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain structured credit concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to manage multiple client engagements simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
  • Knowledge of Moody's Structured Finance Portal, Structured Finance Workstation, and CDONet solutions preferred
  • Experience at a data or analytics vendor serving structured finance clients, such as Bloomberg, Trepp, or similar organizations preferred
  • Basic understanding of artificial intelligence concepts, with curiosity and enthusiasm for learning how AI tools can be used to improve processes and drive efficiency. Interest in exploring AI systems and a willingness to develop awareness of responsible AI practices, including risk management and ethical use.
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Data Analytics, Economics, or a related field is required; equivalent practical experience will also be considered
Responsibilities

Serve as the liaison between technical teams and sales organizations to support commercialization and adoption of structured finance data and analytics solutions.

  • Facilitate product demonstrations and discovery sessions for prospective and existing clients across the structured finance investor base, including asset managers, insurers, banks, and structured credit professionals
  • Lead the development of request for information and request for proposal responses in partnership with sales and product teams
  • Manage customer onboarding for application programming interface and web-based products, helping clients realize value quickly and effectively
  • Conduct regular client touchpoints, identify expansion opportunities, and partner with Account Managers on commercial strategy and growth initiatives
  • Act as the bridge between technical staff and frontline sales teams, translating client requirements into executable solutions
  • Support clients in accessing, connecting, and interpreting structured finance performance data and structuring tools across multiple asset classes
  • Develop user guides, training materials, and enablement resources tailored to structured finance investor workflows
  • Gather and communicate client and market feedback to Product and Research teams to support product enhancements, innovation, and roadmap development

Our Structured Finance Data and Analytics team helps investors and issuers navigate complex structured credit markets by delivering high-quality data, analytics, and technology solutions across a broad range of asset classes. By joining our team, you will work in a collaborative, high-impact environment that partners closely with Product, Research, Sales, and Technology teams to deliver commercially viable, technically executable outcomes while supporting innovation and the adoption of data-driven solutions across the structured finance ecosystem.

For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $135,700.00 - $196,750.00, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation.
