Director, Design Verification – Samsung Semiconductor

TheDRAM Development Lab (DDL) within Samsung’s Memory Business Unit is focused on cutting‑edge memory and storage solutions for cloud and data center applications. The SOC team develops silicon solutions such as Custom HBM base die and AI accelerators. We are seeking a Director, Design Verification to lead a high‑performing verification team and drive first‑pass silicon success.

What You’ll Do

• Define and implement SoC verification strategy and methodology.
• Lead the team to successful verification sign‑offs.
• Plan and manage resources across multiple concurrent projects.
• Define and enhance development milestones and flows for SoC projects.
• Collaborate with Architecture, Design, Firmware, Validation counterparts to align on verification requirements and targets.
• Provide post‑silicon bring‑up and debug support.

What You Bring

• BS/MS in Computer/Electrical Engineering or Computer Science with 15+ years of ASIC verification experience.
• Proven leadership of verification teams.
• Experience with multiple successful tape‑outs.
• Strong project management skills, including scheduling, resource allocation, and risk mitigation.
• Expertise in UVM, C++, and SystemVerilog.
• Comprehensive knowledge of verification flows and tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Self‑motivated problem‑solver who works well in a team.

What We Offer

Competitive base pay range: $219,000 - $351,000 USD for U.S. positions, with additional incentive opportunities.
