About this Role

We are seeking a Director to join the Commercial Strategy & Strategic Partnerships team within our SMA Solutions business unit. This team leads commercial strategy efforts, drives innovative product solutions, and engages with our largest strategic partners. The Director will develop and execute the SMA Solutions product roadmap, helping to position the SMA business of the future through innovation and synergy in our product suite.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and drive the SMA Solutions Product Roadmap, focusing on Equity & Bonds, including product innovations and combinations.
  • Chair the SMA Solutions Product Committee for prioritizing, approving, and monitoring product initiatives.
  • Ideate on new features and products in collaboration with strategists, research, PM, and other teams.
  • Manage planning and execution of new products and combinations.
  • Understand client needs through voice-of-client research.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and capabilities.
  • Coordinate with internal and third-party partners on technical and operational requirements.
  • Partner with global and regional teams to align SMA initiatives within broader firm campaigns.
  • Collaborate on Whole Portfolio initiatives with relevant teams.
  • Balance strategic and ad hoc projects effectively.
Qualifications
  • Proven product management experience with a track record of innovation and launches.
  • Ability to lead and influence large, cross-functional teams.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Self-starting, flexible, and responsive personality, capable of working independently and collaboratively.
  • Experience with retail financial advisors and familiarity with managed accounts is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Requirements
  • 8-15 years of relevant asset management experience, preferably with SMA expertise.
  • Knowledge of capital markets and portfolio construction.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with project management tools.

Salary ranges vary by location: USD$194,000 - USD$270,000 for San Francisco and New York; USD$184,000 - USD$250,000 for Princeton, NJ. Additional benefits include bonuses, healthcare, retirement, and more.
