Job summary

International Executive Service Corps seeks a strategic Director to lead Sleep Lab, Sleep Clinic, Pulmonary Function Testing, and DME services within the hospital. Drive clinical quality, regulatory compliance, staffing, budgeting, and collaboration to advance patient care and financial performance.

You will partner with physicians and leaders to optimize operations, policies, and service delivery while maintaining a patient‑centered environment and high standards of safety.

Qualifications

• Requires healthcare supervisory or management experience.
• Experience in pulmonary, sleep medicine, DME, respiratory care, or related services preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, physicians, employees, leadership, and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily operations of Sleep Lab, Pulmonary Function Testing, and DME services.
• Ensures staffing, scheduling, workflow, and resource utilization.
• Maintains a safe, professional, patient-centered environment.
• Recruits, trains, evaluates, and develops departmental staff.
• Establishes expectations and promotes teamwork, accountability, and customer service.
• Ensures staff maintain required competencies, education, and certifications.
• Ensures compliance with applicable federal, state, local, accreditation, and hospital requirements.
• Develops, reviews, and maintains department policies and procedures.
• Coordinates quality improvement and performance improvement activities.
• Participates in budgeting, financial monitoring, and cost-control activities.
• Monitors staffing, expenses, revenue, and productivity.
• Oversees equipment, supplies, inventory, and capital needs.
• Works with hospital leadership to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Promotes timely, safe, and high-quality patient care across all service areas.
• Works collaboratively with physicians and clinical leadership to support patient care needs.
• Addresses patient and physician concerns and resolves service issues.
• Communicates departmental needs and performance to senior leadership.
• Serves as a resource for pulmonary, sleep, and DME-related services.
• Identifies opportunities to grow Sleep Lab, PFT, and DME services.
