Job summary

VulcanForms seeks a Director, Site Quality for a new mass-production facility focused on 3D-printed Ti components for a consumer electronics program. You will own the facility's QMS, ensure metrology and testing meet stringent requirements, and lead quality across 24/7 operations.

You will partner with operations and QE, scale the quality organization, and drive continuous improvement to support rapid product launches and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in manufacturing quality in high-volume settings with metal components.
• 5+ years in senior management leading multi-disciplinary quality teams.
• Expert in CMM workflows, GR&R, capability analysis, and GD&T.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead the site Quality organization for a 24/7 continuous manufacturing environment.
• Establish and maintain a scalable site Quality Management System (QMS) for high-volume throughput.
• Ensure stable production quality with defect reduction, root cause analysis, and customer satisfaction.
• Lead qualification of new products for the consumer electronics program, managing strategy for inspection development and process capability.
• Develop and oversee robust metrology and metallurgical testing capabilities.
• Implement and govern data-driven quality metrics, SPC, and automated factory reporting.
• Support customer audits, technical reviews, and rapid quality issue resolution; bridge product QE and site operations.
• Drive a site-wide culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence for launches.
