Role Summary

Enliven Therapeutics is seeking an experienced, highly motivated, dynamic Director / Sr. Director, Program Management, to support our clinical programs. The ideal candidate will have experience working with cross-functional teams to drive strategy and thoughtful and robust execution of therapeutic programs. This individual serves as the operational leader of the cross-functional program team, ensuring alignment of strategy, timelines, resources, risks, and governance across Clinical Development, Regulatory, CMC, Biometrics, Medical Affairs, Commercial, Quality, and Corporate functions. The ideal candidate is a highly collaborative leader who blends deep biotech clinical development knowledge with expert project management skills. Reporting to the Vice President, Program Management, the ideal candidate will be go-getter, committed and excited to work in an energetic, fast-paced organization.

Key Responsibilities
Program Management & Execution
  • Foster cross-functional alignment and facilitate operational excellence across Clinical Development, Regulatory Affairs, and CMC to ensure timely delivery of program milestones.
  • Develop and maintain integrated timelines mapping out critical paths, regulatory filings (IND/NDA/BLA), and clinical milestones.
  • Drive accountability across all relevant stakeholders by effectively communicating with the larger organization to ensure timely decision-making, risk management, and mitigations.
  • Balance strategic thinking with disciplined execution to successfully advance programs through development and regulatory approval.
Governance & Communication
  • Implement program management best practices, tools, and governance processes.
  • Standardize planning methodologies, reporting, and metrics.
  • Champion operational discipline across cross-functional teams.
Requirements
Education & Experience
  • Degree: Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences, Chemistry, or a related field (Ph.D., MS, or MBA is preferred).
  • Experience: 12+ years in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Therapeutic Focus:
  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in oncology or hematology drug development; familiarity with tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs) or hematologic malignancies is highly desirable.
  • Experience supporting NDA/BLA/MAA regulatory submissions strongly preferred.
  • Experience within a clinical-stage biotechnology company preferred.
  • Leadership: Minimally 7+ years specifically in a dedicated program or project management.
Technical & Soft Skills
  • Drug Development: Strong understanding of FDA/EMA regulations, CMC, and clinical trial phases.
  • Program Management Tools: Advanced proficiency in enterprise project management applications like Smartsheet, or identical enterprise planning tools.
  • Certification: PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is a strong plus.
  • Influence without Authority: Demonstrated ability to align cross-functional teams, resolve conflicts, and drive decision-making in a lean, fast-moving biotech environment.

This is a full-time remote position (40 hours/week). Occasional evening, weekend, holiday, and on-call work may be required as job duties demand. Travel of around 30% may be expected for this role.

The annual salary range Enliven reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at the time of this posting is $250k - $295k. The actual salary offered will be determined based on factors such as experience, qualifications, skills and expertise, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. Benefits are included and other incentives such as bonus and equity may be provided. This range is subject to change based on business needs, job scope changes, market conditions, and individual qualifications. Employees and applicants may request the pay range for their position or for a position to which they are applying.
