Director/Senior Director, Biostatistics (Oncology) – Remote | The Lotus Group

The Lotus Group is partnering with a clinical-stage biotech company advancing a robust oncology pipeline to identify a Director or Senior Director of Biostatistics. This is a remote opportunity for an experienced biostatistician with leadership capabilities and strong programming proficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the lead statistician across oncology programs, providing strategic input from early- to late-phase development
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and analyze clinical trials
• Represent the biostatistics function in internal discussions and regulatory interactions
• Oversee programming deliverables, including tables, listings, figures (TLFs), ADaMs, and SDTMs
• Ensure compliance with global regulatory requirements and statistical standards

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or Master’s degree in Biostatistics or related discipline
• At least 10 years of relevant industry experience, with a strong focus on oncology
• Demonstrated leadership in statistical strategy, trial design, and regulatory support
• Hands-on experience with SAS or R required; ability to code and review statistical programs is essential
• Prior experience managing or mentoring teams is preferred

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in SAS, R, and CDISC standards (SDTM/ADaM)
• Experience with data visualization tools such as JReview, Spotfire, or similar platforms is an advantage
