Job summary

Trident Systems Inc. Space Electronic Systems division seeks a Director of Systems Engineering, Integration & Test (SEIT) to lead SE across programs, from requirements flow-down to hardware integration and qualification of flight systems for space and defense customers.

This is a working leadership role: you will perform hands-on SEIT work, stand up the SEIT organization (SI&T, CAM, PE), mentor engineers, and drive process improvements and test readiness with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical field; 15+ years in systems integration and test with flight hardware
• Experience delivering and qualifying flight hardware for space/defense programs
• Hands-on labor role with leadership responsibilities; not purely managerial
• Experience establishing or expanding a new SEIT organization or similar capability

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements definition and flow-down, system architecture, interfaces, and V&V planning across programs
• Stand up and scale a new SEIT organization (SI&T, CAM, PE) and ensure readiness of hardware qualification
• Provide strategic leadership for root-cause and corrective actions and drive long-term process improvements
• Collaborate with Program Management, Design Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing to meet milestones
• Hire, mentor, and grow SEIT engineers and technicians; focus on space hardware survivability and cybersecurity
