Cardinal Health seeks a Director of Information Security Architecture to lead the security architecture strategy and governance across the organization. This role partners with risk, EA, and technology teams to embed security into development lifecycles and guide technology investments.

The incumbent will drive architecture reviews, establish standards, and advise leadership on priorities. A strong background in cloud, DevSecOps, and regulated industries is essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, security architecture, or information security, with a focus on enterprise architecture and solution design preferred
• Advanced degrees or certifications are preferred for leadership in security architecture

Responsibilities

• Develop the enterprise security architecture strategy aligned with cybersecurity, risk management, and business objectives
• Establish governance processes for secure design, technology selection, and solution deployment across the organization
• Collaborate with cybersecurity leadership, enterprise architecture, and technology teams to define target-state architecture and long-term roadmap
• Provide proactive security guidance during solution design and development and embed security requirements early in the lifecycle
• Oversee architecture review processes to evaluate solutions against standards, risk requirements, and enterprise architecture
• Advise leadership on security architecture priorities, risks, and investments
• Drive tooling strategy to optimize the cybersecurity landscape and support risk management
