Job summary

You will oversee the preparation of SEC filings, the monthly close, and technical accounting policies, influencing business decisions with strategic insights. A Bachelor's in accounting/finance, CPA preferred, and 7+ years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; Master's degree preferred.
• CPA certification preferred; Big Four or national public accounting experience a plus.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting, financial reporting, or finance experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead External Reporting & SEC Compliance: prepare, review, and file 10-Q, 10-K, and 8-K; benchmark disclosures and monitor regulatory changes.
• Oversee Financial Reporting, Close & Controls: manage month-end close, internal controls, and SOX compliance through assessments.
• Provide Technical Accounting Leadership: research, policy development, new standards implementation, memoranda; guidance on stock-based compensation, pensions, and OCI.
• Partner with Exec Leadership & Committees: deliver presentations to executives, Audit Committee and Board; coordinate with internal and external auditors.
• Drive Operational Excellence & Team Development: lead process improvements, automation, and reporting efficiencies.
