Job summary

Marsh is seeking a Director of SEC Reporting in New York to lead external reporting deliverables and ensure accurate, timely filings. The role partners with Legal, Investor Relations, and Accounting Policy to maintain robust disclosure controls in a hybrid work setting.

The position requires a CPA, 10+ years in SEC reporting, and deep U.S. GAAP knowledge. You will manage the SEC calendar, working with cross-functional teams to improve processes and disclosures.

Qualifications

• CPA license is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in SEC/external reporting, preferably in a large public company.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, drafting, review, and filing of Form 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K, including financial statements and MD&A.
• Own the SEC reporting calendar and coordinate cross-functional inputs for on-time delivery.
• Oversee tagging (XBRL) and production steps, ensure DCP and disclosures are accurate.
• Translate technical accounting outcomes into compliant disclosure language; maintain high-quality narratives.
