Job summary

Decera Clinical seeks a Director of Scientific Strategy to lead the design of CME/IME grants by integrating analyses of clinical gaps with funding opportunities. The role requires coordinating with Educational Strategists to secure support for endocrinology, obesity, and cardiovascular CME programs, while advancing educational strategies that align with our mission and standards.

The position offers a full-time schedule with travel to Reston, VA for team meetings and strategic planning.

Qualifications

3–5 years of developing CME/IME grants or equivalent experience in writing and editing medical education activities.
Experience in Endocrinology, Obesity, and Cardiovascular grant development strongly preferred.
Experience designing Quality Improvement programs is a plus.
Travel to Reston, VA or other US locations for in-person meetings is required.
Location: home-based office is acceptable; proximity to a major airport is ideal.

Responsibilities

Design and develop high-quality CME/IME grants that are scientifically and clinically accurate.
Analyze internal and external sources to identify education gaps and clinical needs.
Develop refined funding opportunities through grant conception and development.
Achieve annual grant support goals and maintain a strong grant win rate.
Collaborate with Educational Strategists and cross-functional teams to align strategy with mission.
