Job summary

INSIGHTEC is seeking a leader in scientific and business development to enhance our innovative BBBo-FUS platform. This role is pivotal in connecting with the neuro-biotech ecosystem, integrating scientific evaluation with strategic deal execution, and focusing on our key strategic alliances.

The ideal candidate will have a PhD in a relevant field and extensive experience in biotech/pharma and business development. We offer a hybrid or remote work arrangement with travel requirements around 25%.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years in biotech/pharma/medtech with experience in translational R&D.
• 2–3 years in business development related to CNS assets or platform technologies.
• Proven success in closing licensing or co-development deals.

Responsibilities

• Lead scientific and business development strategy for the BBBo-FUS platform.
• Map and analyze potential of FUS modalities and biotech innovations.
• Evaluate convergent CNS technologies like biologics and gene therapies.
• Engage KOLs and academic partners to shape technology strategy.
