It is anticipated that an incumbent in this role will work remotely 100% of the time and will share a hoteling workspace if/when working onsite, as determined by business needs. The incumbent can work remotely from anywhere in FNBO's 8 state footprint.

Summary of the Job:

The Director, Wealth and Investments is responsible for leading various tasks including technical and analytical strategy for the Public Finance team, securities structuring, performance reporting, research and analysis of securities, and working with issuers of securities. The role also involves assessing the performance and results of departments within the Fixed Income team.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Effectively marketing to targeted clients, prospects, and referral sources to achieve goals.
  2. Collaborating on business development strategies to grow the business.
  3. Participating in transaction and deal flow processes for assigned clients or sourced transactions.
  4. Engaging with peers across FNBO/FNNI to strengthen the company's community and client relationships.
About This Role:
  • Key Accountabilities: including business results, client accountabilities, transaction execution, market intelligence, community focus, compliance, and professional behavior.
  • The Ideal Candidate for This Role: requires a Bachelor's Degree in Banking, Finance, Accounting, Business, Marketing or equivalent, with 8+ years of Public Finance or related experience, and previous government finance experience.
  • Proficiency in complex credit structuring, relationship management skills, and a network among Nebraska issuers are essential.
  • Travel throughout the State and region may be required.
Compensation and Benefits:

The salary range is $105,443.00-$179,253.00, with additional benefits including health insurance, 401k, paid time off, HSA, and more. Learn more about our benefits at this link.
