Job summary

Catholic Charities CCCYO Transportation is seeking a Program Director to lead transportation operations and workforce development programs, ensuring safety, regulatory compliance, and strategic growth.

The role oversees student transport, fleet maintenance, staff development, budgeting, contracts, and partnerships, reporting to the Associate Deputy Director of Social Enterprise Programs. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred and leadership excellence is essential.

Qualifications

• 5 years' experience of management in school bus transportation or related field.
• Demonstrated organizational, time management, and prioritization skills.
• Excellent administrative, planning, and multitasking skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership, planning, implementation, and evaluation of CCCYO Transportation operations and workforce development programs.
• Establish and implement departmental goals, policies, procedures, and performance standards.
• Assess staffing needs and organizational structure to ensure efficient delivery.
• Recruit, supervise, mentor, train, and evaluate staff and managers.
• Monitor and improve operational efficiency, reporting structures, and service outcomes.
• Lead departmental meetings and cross-functional coordination.
• Serve as liaison with People & Culture, Finance, Technology Services, regulators, and external partners.
• Oversee transportation operations, fleet maintenance, and safety compliance.
• Develop workforce development strategies and employer partnerships to align with industry needs.
