Base pay range

$140,000.00/yr - $160,000.00/yr

Part of the Interparfums group founded in 1982, Interparfums USA develops, manufactures and distributes prestige fragrances as the exclusive worldwide licensee for Abercrombie & Fitch, Anna Sui, DKNY, Donna Karan, Dunhill, Graff, GUESS, Hollister, MCM, Oscar de la Renta, Roberto Cavalli, Salvatore Ferragamo and Ungaro. Through its global distribution network, the Company’s products are sold in over 120 countries.

Interparfums, Inc. is seeking an experienced and highly analytical Director, Sales Operations to lead all operational and administrative functions that support the US Primary Accounts and Boutique channels. This pivotal role serves as the engine behind the commercial success of the sub-region, providing strategic and tactical oversight of business planning, forecasting, reporting, and financial management to ensure alignment with shipment and retail sales objectives.

Reporting directly to the Executive Director, Commercial, this cross-functional leader will partner closely with Sales, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to develop and execute high-impact sales operations strategies while continuously optimizing tools, processes, and systems to improve efficiency, forecasting accuracy, and profitability.

This position is based in office from Mondays-Thursdays, and remote on Fridays.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead development of high-level sales plans, shipping targets, and location- and SKU-level retail sales forecasts to support commercial objectives.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Director and Sales Director to create dynamic business plans that support revenue goals, drive sell-through, and maintain inventory health.
  • Support full P&L management for the Primary and Boutique sub-region through financial modeling, variance analysis, and cost tracking.

Operational Excellence & Inventory Management

  • Serve as key liaison between Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, and Customer Service to ensure alignment and accuracy across forecasts, inventory, and execution.
  • Optimize inventory management processes to enhance forecasting precision, accelerate turnover, and improve POS conversion.
  • Identify and implement process improvements that drive efficiency and scalability across sales operations functions.
  • Own all internal and external reporting related to the Primary & Boutique sub-region, including:
  • Weekly/monthly turnover reporting
  • New launch performance tracking
  • Key SKU and category selling analysis
  • Sales and inventory dashboards
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all systems and tools, leveraging advanced Excel skills and BI platforms to extract insights and support decision-making.

Finance & Compliance Oversight

  • Monitor, track, and reconcile all chargebacks, markdowns, trade spend, and allowances in compliance with budget and audit requirements.
  • Manage accruals and financial reporting in collaboration with Finance to ensure transparency, accountability, and proactive risk management.
  • Partner with the Executive Director to identify and evaluate growth opportunities while ensuring disciplined spend and risk mitigation.

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field; MBA or advanced certification preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), or Commercial Strategy within the prestige beauty, fragrance, or luxury retail sector.

  • Advanced Excel proficiency is required; experience with Business Intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Alloy) strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to lead complex projects, streamline processes, and collaborate cross-functionally.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with a highly analytical and strategic mindset.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present data clearly and influence across levels of the organization.
