  • Compensation for this position ranges from $125,000 to $150,000 annually, depending on experience.
  • Preferred location: Work from any of our Informa offices in New York, San Francisco, Chicago, or other US locations.

Informa Connect seeks a driven and experienced Director to lead our Events & Media Sales team for the Enterprise IT portfolio. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in the fast-paced technology sector, driving growth and new business across our high-profile in-person conferences and digital offerings.

The Enterprise IT portfolio includes leading brands such as Enterprise Connect, Data Center World, and ICMI Contact Center Expo—premier B2B platforms combining in-person events with digital solutions for a comprehensive marketing experience.

As a key sales leader, you will oversee the development and execution of integrated sales strategies aligned with our mission to connect and empower industry leaders through technology. You will coach and manage a dynamic sales team, foster cross-department collaboration, and drive revenue growth through innovative physical and digital event solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy and Leadership: Collaborate with the VP of Sales to develop and implement integrated sales strategies. Communicate clearly and ensure successful execution across the team.
  • Team Management & Development: Recruit, onboard, and lead a high-performing sales team, fostering motivation, excellence, and accountability. Provide coaching to meet sales targets.
  • Sales Efficiency: Use tools and best practices to maximize effectiveness and streamline processes.
  • Revenue Growth: Surpass sales goals and KPIs, identify new business opportunities and growth strategies.
  • Collaboration and Relationship Building: Build positive relationships within Informa and with clients, ensuring collaboration and customer focus.
  • Forecasting & Reporting: Provide data-driven forecasts and performance metrics, highlighting risks and opportunities.
  • Product & Market Development: Identify new products and markets to generate high-value business. Contribute to innovative product creation.
  • Account Management: Manage key accounts, develop strategic plans for cross-selling and upselling, aligning with business and client goals.
  • Personal Growth: Focus on continuous leadership development and industry trend awareness.

Requirements include:

  • Experience working across global teams within a matrix organization.
