We are seeking a Director, Sales Engineering for one of our clients, remotely based in the United States. In this strategic role, you will lead the sales engineering team to support revenue growth and customer success. You will collaborate with sales leadership and cross-functional teams to develop scalable technical tools and processes, improve sales effectiveness, and drive technical sales strategies. Additionally, you will manage high-performing teams and position the company as a leader in cybersecurity.

Accountabilities

  1. Align sales engineering with company goals to boost revenue and customer success.
  2. Develop and implement scalable technical tools, processes, and programs in collaboration with sales leadership.
  3. Partner with sales enablement to enhance team skills and align with best practices.
  4. Maintain a catalog of Sales Engineering services, including KPIs and SLAs.
  5. Manage performance reviews, skill development, and career progression for the team.
  6. Work with product, engineering, and support teams to refine go-to-market strategies.

Requirements

  • Approximately 7 years of experience in sales engineering, including at least 2 years in a leadership role scaling technical teams.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute technical sales strategies aligned with revenue goals.
  • Deep understanding of cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST, CIS, CMMC, HIPAA, PCI-DSS.
  • Expertise in Windows domain administration, networking, and endpoint security tools.
  • Experience with RMM tools, remote access tools, and scripting languages.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills to influence stakeholders at all levels.
