Position Summary
The Director, Sales Development at Empower Pharmacy is a bold and strategic leader who thrives on driving aggressive new business acquisition, building high-performance teams, and transforming market potential into sustained revenue growth. This role is designed for a visionary who excels in developing elite outbound sales strategies, optimizing prospecting efforts, and fostering a culture of excellence that fuels long-term company expansion. Through innovation, data-driven execution, and relentless pursuit of opportunity, you will play a pivotal role in scaling Empower Pharmacy’s impact—ensuring more healthcare providers and patients gain access to high-quality, affordable medication.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Architects and leads a world-class sales development organization by setting the standard for outbound prospecting, pipeline acceleration, and high-value lead conversion while implementing elite coaching programs, performance tracking systems, and execution frameworks to drive peak performance.
- Designs and deploys artificial intelligence (AI)-powered sales development strategies that transform lead identification, nurturing, and conversion by leveraging predictive analytics, automation, and behavioral targeting to engage high-value prospects with precision and speed.
- Expands market penetration by proactively engaging executive decision-makers, mastering complex sales cycles and strategic negotiations, and positioning Empower Pharmacy as the premier partner for innovative pharmaceutical solutions.
- Optimizes revenue growth by continuously analyzing performance data, refining engagement strategies, and adapting to market dynamics to enhance the effectiveness of the sales development organization.
- Drives transformation by evolving outbound sales methodologies, embedding a data-driven mindset, and building scalable, repeatable systems that accelerate Empower Pharmacy’s industry leadership and long-term competitive advantage.
While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to talk and hear. The employee is often required to remain in a stationary position for a significant amount of the workday and frequently use their hands and fingers to handle or feel in order to access, input, and retrieve information from the computer and other office productivity devices. The employee is regularly required to move about the office and around the corporate campus. Experience and Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales development, business development, or outbound sales leadership, with a proven track record of driving new business growth and market expansion.
- Bachelor’s degree required in business, marketing, sales management, or a related field; master’s degree preferred.
- Preferred certifications include Certified Sales Leadership Professional (CSLP), Strategic Sales Management Certification (SSMC), and Business Development Executive Certification (BDEC) to demonstrate advanced expertise in sales development and leadership.
- Demonstrated experience leveraging AI in daily work to drive efficiency, solve problems, and enhance decision-making—adept at integrating AI-powered solutions into all workflows.
