Job summary

Wesco is seeking an experienced sales leader in Mexico to develop and administer a comprehensive sales plan that drives customer satisfaction and quota attainment. You will guide a skilled staff, set objectives, and forecast sales and profit for existing and new product lines.

You will expand supplier relationships and monitor market trends to maintain optimal pricing and product mix, while coordinating quotations and project orders across regions.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of related industry professional sales
  • 5+ years of experience leading and managing staff and programs at national, district or regional level
  • Working knowledge of business and management principles, including strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership techniques, and coordination of people and resources
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze, initiate and implement sales strategies to achieve forecasted goals
  • Understands competitive landscape, market insights and effectively communicates across key internal and external stakeholders
  • Proven success in providing customer and personal services, including customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction
  • Strong verbal, written, analytical, persuasion and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to exercise teamwork, leadership, and flexibility
  • Excellent time management and computer skills
  • Ability to travel 25% - 50%

Working Environment:

Outside Sales – Work is generally performed in an office environment, but employee may need to travel to customer sites or warehouse facilities. Driving may be required for an extended period of time with frequent stops and starts. Can be exposed to outdoor weather conditions.
