Job summary

Takeda Cambridge, MA seeks a senior program manager to partner with the Takeda Safety Board Chair and drive strategic direction of TSB, ensuring operational excellence and effective escalation and company-wide communication.

The role leads process ownership for DMC, IRC, and FiH, maintains SOPs and training, develops KPI reporting, and coordinates cross-functional teams to deliver safe, compliant, and efficient safety programs in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree Science or business field required.
• Advanced degree in science or business is desired.
• 8+ years direct experience in pharmaceutical industry or related field required.
• Experience influencing senior-level management and key stakeholders is a plus.
• Healthcare business acumen with understanding of pharmaceutical industry.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Takeda Safety Board Chair to develop strategic direction and enable operational excellence.
• Provide leadership to facilitate TSB processes and company-wide communication.
• Ensure training on TSB processes and continuous improvement.
• Act as Business Process Owner for DMC, IRC and FiH with playbook and SOP development.
• Maintain TSB materials, governance, and training across the organization.
• Lead additional projects to drive organizational goals and operational excellence.
