Tecolote Research, Inc. seeks a Sr-Level Director’s Action Group (DAG) / Business Operations professional for on-site oversight in a SCIF environment.

The role translates leadership priorities into actionable plans, aligning resources to mission objectives and accelerating decision-making across the directorate and Space Force interfaces. You will develop executive decision support, track strategic priorities, and optimize governance, performance, and digital modernization while coordinating

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in management, business, economics, finance, accounting, mathematics, science, technology, engineering, or statistics.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with SAP eligibility required.
• Full-time on-site in a SCIF environment; no exceptions.

Responsibilities

• Assess, develop, evaluate, and consolidate technical and programmatic responses from internal and external stakeholders.
• Interact with Space Force/Air Force and DoD tools (TMT, MS Office) to initiate, track and close taskers.
• Provide planning, budgeting and programming support for Space Force acquisitions.
• Review and disseminate tasks daily; manage tasker databases for leadership.
• Assemble eSSS packages and briefing slides for leadership meetings.
• Advise leadership on status of deliverables and maintain calendars.

Director’s Action Group (DAG) / Business Operations, Sr-Level (Ec37, Ec41, E44)

Provides strategic advisory, executive operations, and cross-functional integration support to senior government leadership. Translates leadership priorities into actionable plans, aligns organizational resources and activities with mission objectives, and improves operational effectiveness through process optimization, governance, performance management, and digital modernization and digital tool implementation. Develops executive decision support, conducts organizational/portfolio analysis, coordinates enterprise initiatives, and tracks execution of strategic priorities. Serves as a force multiplier for leadership by reducing administrative burden, accelerating decision-making, synchronizing stakeholders, and driving measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Assess, develop, evaluate, and consolidate technical and programmatic responses from internal and external program stakeholders.
• Frequently interact with Space Force/Air Force and DoD tools such as TMT and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) to initiate, track and close out various directorate, SSC, and Space Force Command taskers.
• Effective communication, planning, budgeting and programming skills to support ongoing and future Space Force Acquisitions.

DAG / Business Operations Member will:

• Be responsible for daily review/analysis/dissemination of tasks
• Use NIPR & SIPR Task Management Tool (TMT) & e-mail to retrieve/assign tasks
• Update tasker database, which will be provided to leadership at the end of each day
• Assemble and provide instruction on the completion of electronic Staff Summary Sheet (eSSS) packages
• Effectively communicate with offices at each leadership level (Directorate, Center, MAJCOM, SF, DoD)
• Prepare briefing slides for weekly leadership council meetings
• Advise leadership on status of assigned deliverables
• Maintain appointment calendars and conference room schedules
• Assist with acquisition planning documents such as acquisition strategies, RFPs and CDRLs
• Assist with performing market research
• Other duties as assigned

Skills Required

Highly Desired Qualifications:

• Detail-oriented and intellectually curious
• Systems thinking and systems engineering experience
• Space operations and space battle management experience
• Experience with Jira and Confluence
• 10 years of relevant experience required
• BA/BS degree in Management, Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Science, Technology, Engineering, or Statistics required
• Active TS/SCI clearance with SAP eligibility required
• Must be able to work full-time, on-site (5 day/week) in a SCIF environment; no exceptions

Salary Range: $110,000.00 - $130,000.00/Year, DOE
