Job summary

Burro, a leading robotics company in agriculture, seeks a Director of Robot Operations to own customer-facing reliability and scale the fleet support.

You will manage a three-person Robot Support team and build processes, tools, and partnerships to support 500+ robots, driving ROI for clients and prioritizing field feedback for engineering and product. This is a critical leadership role in Philadelphia.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science, Robotics, or related field.
• 10+ years in robotics/ fleet ops with 5+ years leading a team.
• Experience with autonomous mobility tech, CV, LiDAR, RTK GPS, electrical/mechanical systems.
• Experience building scalable support processes, Zendesk and AI tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead Robot Support team and scale operations.
• Drive fleet health, uptime, diagnostics and action plans.
• Outsource to dealers/partners; train and oversee quality.
• Coordinate software deployment and influence roadmap.
