Job summary

Obra Capital is building a dedicated residential whole loan investment capability. We seek a Managing Director to lead platform construction, acquisition strategy, trading, and portfolio management across residential whole loans.

You will partner with insurance clients to tailor asset allocations, guide sourcing, and drive capital markets execution across whole loan investments. 8+ years in investment management strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in investment management, with meaningful tenure in whole loan investing
• Deep knowledge of residential whole loans; Non‑QM focus
• Strong understanding of insurance company investment needs, risk appetite, and regulatory requirements

Responsibilities

• Lead whole loan acquisition activities across flow and bulk executions
• Develop bespoke insurance-asset allocation solutions
• Oversee trading, portfolio management, and risk analytics across the whole loan book
