South Jersey Behavioral Health Resources, Inc. in Pennsauken, NJ, is seeking an experienced and compassionate leader for the Director of Residential Services.

This role provides strategic, clinical, and administrative leadership for adult mental health rehabilitation residential services and supportive housing programs. You will lead programs, hire and develop staff, ensure compliance with agency policies and regulations, manage annual budgets, monitor outcomes, and build partnerships with

Qualifications

• Master's degree in psychology, social work, or related mental health field.
• Minimum five years of experience providing mental health services.
• Minimum two years of supervisory experience in residential services.
• Demonstrated clinical proficiency in serving individuals with serious and persistent mental illness.
• Valid driver's license and driving record that meets insurance requirements.
• Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to utilize electronic health records and related information systems.
• Ability to complete all required agency training.

Responsibilities

• Direct, plan, supervise, and coordinate residential service operations and staff.
• Provide clinical and administrative oversight to residential programs.
• Develop program policies, goals, objectives, staffing plans, and procedures.
• Hire, train, supervise, evaluate, and support residential staff.
• Ensure compliance with agency policies, regulatory requirements, and professional standards.
• Develop and manage annual budgets and oversee resource utilization.
• Monitor program outcomes and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Ensure completion and monitoring of clinical assessments and related documentation.
• Review clinical records to ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
• Establish and maintain relationships with community providers, funding sources, and governmental agencies.
• Facilitate staff meetings, supervisory sessions, and program communication processes.
• Promote wellness, recovery, person-centered services, and continuity of care.
