Job summary

The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) is seeking a Director to lead the Administration and Fiscal Affairs for the Alabama Drug Discovery Alliance program (Station 41 Accelerator). You will co-develop strategic plans, organize market launches, and coordinate with UAB and Southern Research leadership to advance translational science and commercialization.

Responsibilities

• Co-develops the strategic plan for the Program, including the business plan, financial model, prospective organizational structure, and legal operational considerations.
• Works with UAB and SR leadership to identify objectives across commercialization and startup growth.
• Provides reports, forecasting and budgeting analyses for program evaluation.
• Plans market re-launch for the Program in FY 2027 and leads day-to-day operations.
