What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

1. Lead and structure a high-performing team of 15+ research engineers, setting clear expectations and coaching team members
2. Collaborate with customers and product leaders to shape the future of CoCounsel for Tax, Accounting, and Audit
3. Drive the end-to-end model development lifecycle while partnering with cross-functional teams
4. Foster innovation by encouraging new approaches and technologies to solve real-world challenges
5. Manage project portfolio, budget, priorities, and staff allocation while presenting work to external stakeholders

What is Required (Qualifications):

1. Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or equivalent; Master's or PhD preferred
2. 10+ years of software development experience, with at least 3 years on Machine Learning-related products
3. 5+ years of management experience in coaching and developing high-performing teams
4. Demonstrated experience integrating machine learning solutions into production-grade software
5. Expertise in Python development and relevant libraries, as well as cloud infrastructure (AWS or Azure)

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

1. 8+ years of management experience in coaching high-performing teams
2. Familiarity with Natural Language Processing (NLP) tasks such as Named Entity Recognition (NER)
3. Hands-on experience with additional programming languages like Java, TypeScript, or JavaScript
