Job summary

Philips seeks a Director of Released Product Engineering to lead manufacturing engineering, govern released products, and drive program prioritization across the portfolio.

You will manage a team of program managers, partner with operations and supply chain, and ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget while resolving competing goals.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in manufacturing/engineering (10+ preferred).
• Lean/Six Sigma Certification or DFx certification preferred.
• Bachelor's/Master's degree in related engineering or business; MBA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead governance of released products and prioritization of programs across the portfolio.
• Manage end-to-end operations interface between business, operations and supply chain.
• Direct a team of program managers to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Establish relationships with stakeholders to resolve conflicting goals and drive optimal business solutions.
• Develop plant-network optimization and scale-up of new products, including transfers and make-vs-buy decisions.

Director, Released Product Engineering### Job DescriptionThe Director of Released Product Engineering is responsible for managing manufacturing engineering and project management activities**Your role:*** Develop and lead governance of released products, driving functional alignment and prioritization of programs and projects in the released product portfolio* Lead end-to-end operations interface between the business, operations, and supply chain, acting as a liaison between them* Manage a team of operations members/program managers to partner with operations/supply chain to ensure released product projects are completed on time and on budget* Establish and maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders across various functions to resolve conflicting goals and prioritize driving optimal business solutions* Develop and execute plant network optimization of existing products as well as manufacturing transfers and scale-up of new products, supplier changes, vertical integration and leading make vs. buy analysis**You're the right fit if:*** You’ve acquired 8+ years of experience with a Bachelor’s or 6+ years of experience with a Master’s in areas such as Manufacturing/Operations, Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Production Engineering or Cost Engineering or equivalent. 10+ years of experience preferred.* Your skills include environmental health and safety, product lifecycle management, process improvements, lean manufacturing, business acumen, cost optimization, project management, stakeholder management, change management, KPI management, budget management, people management, technology acumen, strategic planning and operational strategies.* You have a Bachelor's Degree/ Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Sciences, Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent. Master’s in engineering or business administration preferred. In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.
