Job summary

Lundbeck in Boston, MA, is seeking a Director for Regulatory Promotional Compliance and Scientific Messaging to provide strategic leadership for advertising, promotion, and external communications across US products.

The role partners with Commercial, Medical, Legal, Market Access and others to ensure compliant, scientifically accurate messaging across HCP, DTC, and digital channels, while supporting launches and lifecycle management.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in R&D, regulatory or related pharma/biotech roles with 5+ years in promotion messaging.
• Extensive hands-on US promotional regulations and strategy experience across audiences.
• Ability to lead complex promotional reviews and assess claims against evidence.
• Strong knowledge of FDA advertising requirements and OPDP interactions.

Responsibilities

• Lead regulatory advertising and promotion strategy for US brands and pipelines.
• Oversee reviews of claims and promotional materials for accuracy and compliance.
• Represent regulatory perspectives in cross‑functional MLR reviews and negotiations.
• Provide early regulatory guidance on scientific messaging and promotional concepts.
• Support launch planning and lifecycle management with compliant communications.
