Job summary

Vans, a VF brand, is seeking a Director of Merchandising for Apparel & Accessories to drive the AMER regional strategy and category vision across Men’s and Women’s lines. You will translate global direction into regional initiatives, guiding merchandising leadership, marketplace segmentation, and commercial performance.

You will work closely with Global Product, Planning, Sales, Marketing, and Digital teams to shape seasonal priorities, pricing, and storytelling that strengthen brand relevance

Qualifications

• 10+ years merchandising leadership experience in apparel or related consumer-led industry.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen driving revenue, margin, and inventory decisions.
• Proven ability to lead and develop managers and cross-functional teams.
• Experience leading Apparel and Accessories across Men’s and Women’s, with marketplace segmentation and storytelling.

Responsibilities

• Set and lead AMER merchandising vision and category strategy for Apparel and Accessories.
• Own regional business strategy using consumer insights and financial results to identify opportunities and manage risks.
• Lead cross-functional alignment with Planning, Sales, Marketing, Marketplace, Retail, Digital, and Global Product teams.
• Serve as the senior AMER voice in milestone meetings and influence product positioning and pricing.
• Lead and develop the regional merchandising organization.
