Summary:

Under the supervision of the AVP for Facilities Development, this role assumes responsibility for and assists in the operation of building planning, maintenance of building structures, equipment, furniture, fixtures, and grounds. Assists in site and facilities analysis as required. Performs property management functions on off-site locations, tracks fixed assets of all stored furniture and equipment. Negotiates leases, tracks and invoices all leases, rent invoicing, and collection, and manages all utilities system-wide.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Lease negotiations, site selections, and property purchases. Hires and manages real estate firms.
  • Property management of all off-site locations on call 24/7.
  • Processing and tracking all invoices for outside services to maintain the off-site facilities, including utility invoices.
  • Site development, project, and construction management; develops RFPs and hires contractors.
  • Contract negotiations for outside services required to maintain all off-site facilities.
  • Planning, scheduling, and managing all departmental moves.
Position Qualifications and Experience Required:

Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar position.

Required Education:

College graduate or equivalent preferred. Real Estate license preferred.

Training/Certifications/Licensure:
  • Real Estate License.
  • Virtua Certificate of Leadership.
