Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health Inc. is seeking a Director of Radiology to oversee operations across Diagnostic Imaging, including X-Ray, CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, and the Breast Center. You will lead clinical quality, resource utilization, and service growth.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of three years in hospital operations leadership, with excellent communication and advanced computer skills. Master's in Healthcare Administration is preferred.

The Director of Radiology oversees the operations of all services provided by Diagnostic Imaging, including X-Ray, CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, and Breast Center. Provides leadership to ensure the highest quality service, and appropriate use of resources, while maximizing opportunities for continued growth and revenue with sound business practices.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• Bachelor's Degree.
• Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience in hospital operations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills that include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:

• Master's Degree in Healthcare Administration or other health related field.
• Acute hospital experience.
• Radiology clinical & leadership experience.

Licenses and Certifications Required:

• NJ State License for Diagnostic Radiology (D.R.) or NJ Nuclear Medical Technologist License.

Licenses and Certifications Preferred:

• Valid Magnetic Resonance Imaging Certification (MR) or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Tech (ARMRIT).

Contacts:

• Regular contact with medical personnel and its visitors.

Working Conditions:

• Lifts a minimum of 25 lbs., pushes and pulls a minimum of 50 lbs., and stands a minimum of 6 hours a day.
