Job summary

County Materials Family of Companies is hiring a Director of Quality & Technical Services in Whitestown, IN. This role oversees quality, architecture, and continuous improvement across multiple plants, partnering with Operations, Engineering, and Safety to elevate performance and product standards.

The position leads standardized processes, drives data-informed decisions, and develops architectural capabilities, while mentoring teams and guiding multi-plant initiatives to ensure high-quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
• 7+ years of senior quality control management experience with continuous improvement.
• PCI Certification - Level III

Responsibilities

• Leads division-wide quality control teams by strengthening standardized processes, systems, and controls.
• Leads cost analysis initiatives to improve profitability, operational efficiency, and data-informed decision-making.
• Evaluate and execute improvements of production standards for mix design, formwork, embedding, finishing, curing, and quality requirements.
• Trains and mentors plant teams on architecture processes, color and texture matching, finish consistency, and inspection techniques.
• Provides input for the selection of architectural-capable plants and conducts readiness assessments for additional facilities.
• Establishes standards for mock-ups, sample approvals, finish benchmarking, and customer-facing product demonstrations.
