Job summary

Gilead is seeking a Director of QC Technology & Innovation in La Verne, CA to lead technology strategy, automated testing, and digital solutions for QC operations. You will guide method transfers, validation, and troubleshooting to ensure robust analytical capabilities across the site.

The role emphasizes modernization toward a highly automated, integrated laboratory, with collaboration across MSAT, QA, Regulatory CMC, and Manufacturing to support product lifecycle changes and new product

Qualifications

BS in a scientific discipline with 12+ years of pharma/biopharma experience; or MS with 10+ years; or PhD with 8+ years.
Significant experience in QC, Analytical Sciences, Analytical Development, or related GMP lab function.
Strong knowledge of GMP requirements, data integrity, and regulatory expectations for QC laboratories.
Experience implementing advanced laboratory automation or innovative testing technologies.

Responsibilities

Lead implementation of QC technology and innovation strategy aligned with Global Quality and Digital Strategy.
Oversee analytical method transfers for new product introductions and lifecycle changes.
Provide technical leadership for method validation, verification, transfer, and implementation.
Drive continuous improvement of analytical methods and laboratory technologies.
