Clackamas County seeks a seasoned emergency communications leader to serve as Director of the Office of Clackamas 911. You will guide the county's largest public safety center, overseeing round-the-clock call-taking and dispatch for police, fire, and EMS across 14 agencies and 1,900 square miles.

You will shape strategic direction, manage a $14.6 million budget, influence regulatory matters, and steer a 57-member team toward high-quality service for more than 400,000 residents.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a 911 or public safety communications operation.
• Strong budget administration, contracts, and interagency relationship management.
• Executive leadership, strategic planning, and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Oversee 24/7 emergency and non-emergency call-taking and dispatch for multiple agencies across the county.
• Provide strategic direction and reliable day-to-day operation of Clackamas 911.
• Lead collaboration with law enforcement, fire, and EMS partners and public safety organizations.
