The Director of Public Relations will support a selective, process-driven media posture (no blanket defaults), drive message discipline on responsible growth, and drive measurable results (SOV, sentiment, message pull‑through, inbound SLAs) while safeguarding confidentiality and trust. This team member will also work with Marketing, Public Policy, Operations, Legal, and external agency partners to develop and implement public relations initiatives that strengthen STACK’s position in the market and reinforce trust with clients, media, industry partners, and local stakeholders.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, analysts, industry influencers, and communications partners
  • Identify newsworthy company developments and drive earned media opportunities that support business objectives
  • Draft and manage press releases, executive messaging, talking points, speeches, op-eds, briefing materials, and media statements

  • Monitor and triage in‑bound media requests
Corporate Communications & Reputation Management
  • Lead reputation management initiatives that reinforce STACK’s position as a trusted leader in digital infrastructure
  • Develop communications strategies that translate complex technical infrastructure topics into clear and compelling storytelling
  • Partner with subject matter experts to develop strategic messaging platforms and narrative frameworks
  • Monitor media coverage, industry trends, public sentiment, and emerging issues that may impact the company
  • Lead crisis communications planning and response efforts related to operational, reputational, or industry events
  • Develop internal briefing materials and executive communications related to sensitive or high‑profile topics
  • Collaborate with Marketing team to align external messaging across channels
Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Manage agency relationships, PR consultants, and external communications vendors as needed
