Job summary

Arch Insurance Group Inc. is seeking a Director, Property Account Engineer to manage a dedicated underwriting team. This role involves portfolio management for the Property line of business, including evaluating submissions and coordinating engineering services.

Ideal candidates will possess extensive experience in conducting HPR Property surveys and servicing accounts, strong analytical and communication skills, and a relevant engineering degree. The position offers competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits.

Job Summary

The Director, Property Account Engineer will be responsible for providing in depth portfolio management of a dedicated underwriting team (5-10 underwriters). This is for the Property line of business (HPR – Highly Protected Risk) and would involve:

For individuals assigned or hired to work in the location(s) indicated below, the base salary range is provided. Range is as of the time of posting. Position is incentive eligible.

Chicago, IL: $133,300 to $179,964 per year

IN, MI, OH, WI: $114,800 to $154,969 per year

• Total individual compensation (base salary, short- and long-term incentives) offered will take into account a number of factors including but not limited to geographic location, scope & responsibilities of the role, qualifications, talent availability & specialization as well as business needs. The above pay range may be modified in the future.
