Job summary

Venture Global LNG seeks a Director, Project Quality in Plaquemines, LA to lead the project quality management system across the project organization and align with the Quality Leadership team to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

The role requires 10+ years in construction quality within the energy sector (prefer LNG), deep knowledge of API Q1, ISO 9001, ASME/API codes, and proven ability to mentor teams and deliver data-driven reports to senior leaders.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in Construction Quality management, in the energy industry, preferably in LNG.
• Strong knowledge of construction process, materials, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Strong knowledge of API Q1, ISO 9001, international quality standards, and technical matters related to ASME and API codes and standards.
• Experience with audits, inspections, and subcontractor evaluations.
• Well-articulated with excellent written and verbal communication, planning, computing, technical, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel, both domestic and international.
• Ability to read and interpret engineer drawings to include P&IDs, Civil/Structural plans and details, Electrical Wiring Diagrams, Piping Isometrics, etc.
• Broad knowledge and understating of all industry codes, standards, and industry best practices.
• Have advanced computer experience with Smartsheet, SharePoint, BI, Adobe, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, and Excel Work products.
• Ability to obtain a TWIC Card.

Summary

We are looking for a Director, Project Quality to join our team in Point Celeste, LA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the implementation of the project quality management system, quality plans, procedures, templates, and training programs across the project organization, and interfacing with the Quality Leadership team to ensure feedback from the execution team are implemented as part of our Continuous Improvement Initiative.
