Job summary

Highwire is seeking a Director of Project Management to lead the PM function, building scalable processes and driving delivery excellence across cross-functional initiatives in a digital marketing context. You will establish best practices, mentor staff, and partner with leadership on resource planning and long-term delivery strategy.

The role emphasizes operational excellence, process optimization, and building high-performing teams within a values-driven agency environment.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of progressive experience in project management, including leadership of teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Operations, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • Deep expertise in project management tools, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Advanced project management certification (PMP, PgMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) highly preferred.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and change management skills.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the project management team, including Sr. PMs, PMs, and Coordinators.
  • Oversee execution of complex, high-visibility projects and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Develop, implement, and refine project management methodologies, tools, and workflows.

Director, Project Management

The Director of Project Management provides leadership and oversight for the project management function within the digital marketing organization. The salary range for this position is $110,000 to $150,000, with the final offer based on a combination of factors, including education, relevant experience, skills, prior training, internal equity, and local geographic market data. Location & Work Environment

Highwire offers both remote and hybrid work options, depending on where you live.

Hybrid: Candidates located within commuting distance of our New York, NY or San Francisco, CA offices follow a hybrid schedule, with three in-office days per week.
