Role Overview

The Director, Program Management and Delivery is accountable for the successful delivery of enterprise programs and complex, cross-functional transformation initiatives across the Americas. The role establishes and leads enterprise program management, delivery governance, and PMO capabilities to ensure initiatives are executed predictably, efficiently, and in alignment with approved scope, schedule, budget, quality, and value objectives. As a senior leader within the the Enterprise Transformation & Enablement Office (ETEO), this role establishes and leads the enterprise delivery framework, ensuring programs are executed consistently through standardized governance, integrated planning, delivery, assurance, and executive reporting. This role provides enterprise-level oversight of program execution, integrating delivery governance, dependency management, risk and issue escalation, and benefits realization alignment. The Director, Program Management and Delivery ensures that programs are delivered in accordance with enterprise portfolio priorities, financial guardrails, and change readiness constraints, while maintaining transparency and accountability throughout the delivery lifecycle.

This role partners closely with Portfolio Governance, Finance, IT Leadership, Business Functional Leadership, Enterprise Architecture, and Executive Sponsors to translate strategic priorities into executable roadmaps and measurable business outcomes. This role manages a team of enterprise program and project management professionals to ensure delivery consistency, discipline, and performance across Brother’s transformation landscape.

Duties & Responsibilities

Enterprise Transformation Delivery and PMO Leadership

  • Establish and lead Brother’s enterprise program management and delivery framework across strategic and transformational initiatives
    • Develop and continuously improve enterprise PMO capabilities to increase delivery maturity, consistency, and predictability
    • Ensure enterprise visibility of delivery risks, issues, dependencies, decisions, and constraints
      Provide independent assessment of program health and executive readiness for key delivery milestones
    • Lead enterprise delivery assurance reviews throughout the program lifecycle
    • Establish enterprise delivery performance metrics and KPIs
    • Ensure alignment between portfolio priorities, strategic objectives, approved funding, and execution capacity
    • Own enterprise delivery governance standards, methodologies, templates, and execution practices across the ETEO
    • Govern cross-program dependencies, integration points, and enterprise critical paths
    • Lead and integrate a multi-disciplinary delivery team encompassing Project Management and Program Management, ensuring cohesive execution and outcome alignment across programs
    • Provide leadership, coaching, capability development, and performance management across enterprise program delivery, governance, planning, portfolio reporting and continuous improvement disciplines
    • Ensure alignment between program execution, business process implementation, operational readiness, technology deployment, and value realization to achieve sustainable business outcomes
    • Serve as a trusted advisor to executives on delivery feasibility, trade-offs, and execution risk
      Ensure consistent communication across regions and functions regarding delivery status and expectations

Delivery Governance & Controls

  • Define and enforce delivery governance standards, including status reporting, risk and issue management, dependency tracking, and escalation protocols
    • Ensure all programs operate with clear delivery accountability, decision rights, and escalation paths
    • Partner with Portfolio Governance to ensure delivery execution aligns with approved sequencing, funding, and capacity constraints
    • Intervene when delivery performance deviates materially from approved baselines
    • Own enterprise-level visibility into delivery risks, issues, and cross-program dependencies
    • Proactively identify systemic delivery risks and recommend mitigation or corrective actions
    • Escalate material risks impacting timeline, cost, quality, or benefits realization to executive leadership
    • Ensure lessons learned are captured and incorporated into future delivery practices
    • Standardize reporting, escalation, financial forecasting, and dependency management practices
    • Ensure consistent RAID management across the enterprise portfolio
    • Establish governance forums supporting executive decision-making
    • Maintain enterprise delivery dashboards and portfolio health reporting
    • Conduct executive delivery assurance reviews at key lifecycle milestones
    • Define minimum delivery standards and quality criteria for all enterprise programs
    • Own enterprise Stage Gate governance across strategic initiatives
    • Ensure programs are delivered with a clear line of sight to approved business outcomes and benefits
    • Partner with Business Owners, Functional Leaders, and Executive Sponsors to ensure delivery milestones support operational readiness, business transition, and value realization
    • Validate that program completion criteria include readiness for transition, sustainment, and operational ownership
      Support post-implementation reviews to confirm delivery effectiveness and benefit realization

Program Planning, Road mapping, & Execution

  • Oversee the development of integrated program plans, roadmaps, and milestones that align strategy to execution
    • Ensure programs are structured with clear workstreams, milestones, success criteria, and measurable outcomes
    • Validate that delivery plans appropriately account for resource availability, regional considerations, implementation impacts, operational dependencies, and organizational constraints
    • Drive disciplined execution while enabling flexibility to adapt to evolving business priorities
    • Establish portfolio-level resource planning and capacity management practices
    • Validate sequencing of initiatives to optimize organizational capacity
    • Govern integrated master schedules for strategic transformation initiatives
    • Lead enterprise dependency planning and critical path management
    • Develop integrated enterprise roadmaps spanning multiple business functions

Financial and Executive Reporting

  • Partner with Finance and Portfolio Governance to ensure delivery execution aligns with approved budgets and forecasts
    • Monitor program-level financial performance, schedule adherence, and forecast accuracy
    • Support reforecasting, trade-off analysis, and recovery planning when delivery constraints emerge
    • Ensure transparency between delivery progress, financial consumption, and expected value realization
    • Provide clear, concise, and decision-oriented delivery reporting on enterprise programs and projects to executive leadership
    • Translate complex delivery data into actionable insights regarding progress, risk, and required decisions
    • Provide recommendations regarding recovery planning, resource allocation, and execution prioritization
    • Monitor delivery KPIs, portfolio performance, schedule health, financial health, and strategic alignment
    • Support investment governance through executive decision support and scenario analysis
    • Provide enterprise portfolio reporting to Executive Leadership and Steering Committees

  • Build and mature Brother's Enterprise Program Management capability
    • Establish PMO career paths, competency models, and delivery standards
    • Drive continuous improvement across governance, planning, estimation, reporting, and delivery methodologies

Experience & Qualifications
  • Education
    • Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience) in Business Administration, Project Management, IT, Engineering, or related field
    • Master's Degree (or equivalent experience) or MBA - Preferred
  • Experience
    • 10+ years of experience spanning the following areas:
      • Experience in program management, large- scale delivery leadership, or enterprise transformation execution
      • Experience leading complex, cross-functional programs in a matrixed organization
      • Experience leading enterprise PMOs, strategic transformation programs, delivery governance, financial management, enterprise risk management, and complex cross-functional program execution
  • Licenses and Certifications
    • PMP - Project Management Professional
    • Six Sigma Green Belt - Preferred
  • Software/Technical Skills
    • Advanced Jira, Workfront, or other project management tools and software

Additional Details for This Role

This role will be a hybrid role. Subject to business needs, employees may work remotely up to two days per week. Assigned office days will be determined by your manager. #LI-Hybrid

Base Salary
  • The targeted base salary range for this position is$170,000 - $195,000 per year.
  • Base salary is determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the successful candidate, as well as factors such as internal equity, cost of labor in the hiring location, and alignment with market data.
Additional Compensation
  • This position is eligible for a30%bonus at 100% of target, with the opportunity to achieve above 100% dependent on company performance and in alignment with company bonus plans.
  • Bonus awards are discretionary and contingent upon individual performance as well as Brother achieving its corporate objectives, in accordance with the applicable bonus plan in effect.

About Where We Work

Brother’s corporate headquarters for the Americas is in Bridgewater, NJ, across from the Bridgewater Commons Mall. This location houses key corporate functions, including HR, legal, finance, IT, and supply chain, and a significant presence of our business unit leadership and marketing teams. Our manufacturing and distribution facility in Bartlett, TN spans an impressive 1.5 million square feet - equivalent to 26 football fields - and is located on Brother Boulevard. In addition to the distribution center operations team, this facility hosts several other departments, including our customer service group. Brother also has employees based in other locations, such as Westminster, CO, where many of our marketing and product engineering team members from the mobile solutions division operate, as well as our distribution centers in Richmond, VA and Perris, CA. Additionally, our outside sales teams work remotely within their territories, staying geographically close to the accounts they support to ensure they are always “at your side” for our customers.
