The director will lead MRI operations, manage staff, and shape an independently funded human MRI/fMRI program within the CBH. Qualified candidates hold a Ph.D.

or M.D. in relevant fields, with an international publication record and leadership experience in complex research facilities.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or M.D. in neuroscience, psychology, biomedical engineering, physics, medical physics or related field.
• Established, internationally recognized research program with strong publication record.
• Leadership experience in managing scientific teams and facilities.
• Experience fostering interdisciplinary collaborations and training.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all aspects of NUBIC and MRI operations
• Conduct a well-funded, independent research program in human MRI/fMRI
• Foster interdisciplinary collaborations across psychology, neuroscience, biomedical sciences, and engineering
• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses
• Mentor students and postdoctoral researchers
• Promote a vibrant user-base for functional, diffusion, spectroscopy, and structural MRI research
