University of California, Santa Barbara invites applications for an open-rank, tenured or tenure-track faculty position in Human Neuroscience (or a related field) to serve as Director of the UCSB Brain Imaging Center (BIC). The ideal candidate will bring an active, cutting-edge research program in human neuroscience along with leadership and vision to advance the Center's mission.

As Director, you will provide strategic and operational leadership for a state-of-the-art campus core facility

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or M.D. or equivalent in Psychological and Brain Sciences or related to neuroimaging
• 4 years experience in a Tenure Track position or higher
• Minimum 4 years using MRI brain imaging technology

Responsibilities

• Lead the UCSB Brain Imaging Center (BIC) as Director and advance its research mission
• Provide strategic and operational leadership for a state-of-the-art imaging core and manage budgeting, staffing, and equipment upgrades
• Contribute to the department through funded research, teaching at undergraduate/graduate levels, and mentorship in a highly collaborative environment
