Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('Versant') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Director, Production Operations to join the TechOps team supporting the NBC4 & Telemundo 52 Los Angeles Media Operations Center and Control Rooms. As the Director, Operations, you will be primarily responsible for leading Operations Teams delivering daily live news production in our Production Control Rooms and Media Operations Center, supporting NBCU Local News field, editorial and production teams. You will also serve as a key engagement lead to other departments, be the client-facing Operational Representative, ensuring successful delivery of production services to these internal client groups. In this role, you will partner with the Director of Technology to support business needs, while being the liaison connecting Operations and Technology Support Teams. This role reports to the TechOps Regional VP and provides strategic support to the General Manager/President of NBC4 & Telemundo 52.
